Level of upset :: 4 Business in question :: LG Electronics Complaint :: I purchased a DVD Recorder/VCR Comination. It did not work straight out of the box. I called LG, and they advised me to have it repaired by an authorised repair center. I took the ubit to the repair center in Nov 2005. The unit has a bad mainboard according to the techs at the repair center. LG now refuses to honor their warranty and will not authorise the repair. it has been in the repair shop for over 4 months, and now it can't be returned to the merchant, as it would have needed to be returned within 30 days. LG accepted this unit for repair with an authorization number in Nov. I was told that it was repaired, and picked up the unit. It still does not work, When I returned to the repair center, they said I needed an additional claim number for repair. LG will not cover the repair at this point. This unit shuts down after approx 30 seconds when the power button is pushed. It does not play a video tape and does not stay powered up. I paid $350.00 for a dead product, and because I followed their instructions, can not return it now for a replacement. I reported them to BBB, and they tell me now that because of this they will have no contact with me. I believe that LG owes me at the very least, a new unit, or repair mine. Their entire customer service center for the US is in Alabama, and you must deal with the same three people when you call. I was told that I would receive a new machine back in Jan, but it did not happen. They will not return phone calls, and it seems as though when you ask to speak with a manager the calls go full circle, and you end up talking to the person you first started with. I have included some of the corespondance I have had through email as an attachment. This company is unfair and does not honor their warranty. It is disgraceful that a company such as LG who also include Goldstar and Zenith in their product line has such poor customer service. $350.00 is a good chunk of money to me, and a corporation such as this probably spends more than this weekly on toilet paper. To repair or replace this would have been very easy, but they choose to stiff me with a worthless box full of defective parts. Level of upset :: 3 Business in question :: IPOWER.com Complaint :: I cancelled my services with this company and not only did they charge me $95 for each of my websites anyway, but it took them 4 months to credit me back, the whole time our account representative being told we had already been credited, and when they finally did credit us back it was only $72 per site. I've tried to contact them again on it, but when calling them, you sit on the phone, sometimes up to 3.5 hours waiting, and whoever picks up the phone usually can't even help you! Lauderdale, Florida. I had a membership to a phone dating service called
Quest, owned by the First Media Corporation. Since my service has been
transfered I have had nothing but problems with it. The system does'

I have about 500 customers using it for their homepage Just thought I'd try and save someone some heartache, Level of upset :: 3 Business in question :: Podvertiser.com Complaint :: Our company supplied a software engineer for Podvertiser.com to complete a project. The work was completed, yet Podvertiser ignores our requests for payment. They will not return phone calls or e-mails. They simply will not pay. We have filed a complaint with the BBB and other organziations but they still refuse to pay. Level of upset :: 4 Business in question :: Jump Domain Complaint :: I registered a domain name with Jump Domain two years ago (a two year contract). Needing help with the setup, I submitted several tickets to their support system (the only means of contact that they provide). I never received a single response. Eventually, I figured out everything on my own. Over the two year period I have submitted other help tickets in which none were ever replied to. This brings me the present date. My domain registration at Jump Domain is due to expire in June of 2006. Because of this "no support" issue I decided to transfer my domain to Dynadot LLC. Right after Dynadot submitted the transfer request, Jump Domain removed my specified DNS settings and placed my domain in their parking system. This leaves my site unavailable by it's domain name. Of course I submitted another help ticket to Jump Domain although I don't expect a response. Dynadot LLC has been very helpful by quickly answering my questions on this matter. They are simply powerless to do anything other then to wait for Jump Domain to approve the transfer or for the 6 day waiting period to be over at which time the transfer will be automatically approved. In the mean time, my site will probably be down for 6 full days costing me a loss of revenue. My advice, DO NOT REGISTER YOUR DOMAIN WITH JUMP DOMAIN if you put any value on customer service. I would love to see Jump domain respond to this report. At least I would then know that there is actually someone alive there. Level of upset :: 4 Business in question :: The Travel Central Store, The Honeymoon Store, Cindy Ball, Susan Will Complaint :: We pre-paid for services and the resort through the travel agency. When we arrived at the resort they had no record of our pre-paid items. The resort attempted to locate our pre-paid items for the duration of our stay. Upon arrival back and contacting the agency they said they had to hear back from sandals regarding our items. We ended up paying at the resort for the items a second time. We sent copies of those reciepts to the agency. And will still have yet to re-embursed for those items we pre paid for. We have contacted them numerous times, and they have not replied to us since January. Level of upset :: 4 Business in question :: Marietta Dodge Complaint :: On March 3rd, 2006, I went into Marietta Dodge for an acquisition sale. I was in search of an SUV. My salesperson Matt sat down with me for a few minutes before he took me on the lot to look at a few SUV's. Due to time constraints I had to come back on Tuesday of that week. The one that I became interested in was a 2003 Jeep Grand Cherokee Overland. We went for a test drive and I noticed a hole in the carpet. My salesperson went to get the Used car sales manager Jim Natilli to come and look at the hole. He said that there would be no problem, and that he would order the carpet to be repaired. I talked to Matt and Jim and they assured me that all the cars had been thoroughly inspected and tested for all problems, defects and issues. Nevertheless, I ended up buying the Jeep, which was the biggest mistake that I have ever made. I traded in a Chrysler Sebring. I was told that they were giving me the full value of the car, which at the time was $12,500. They wrote it up as only giving me $8,000 for my trade and they said they took $2,000 of the price of the vehicle, which was $17,998. However that remaining balance, they rolled over to my new loan. That was the first ripoff action. The very next day, I noticed that the temporary sticker was already
expired, the tire sensor in the car was bad, the wipers were down to
the metal and left brake light was broken. I called Matt, and he said
that even though the temporary tag had expired, it was fine to drive
it and I could come over at any time to have it replaced. I asked about
all the other issues. He said that they could fix the wipers and brake
light then, but I would have to come back to have the other things fixed.
The car was also idling up. I had to return to Marietta Dodge two days later for my appointment
to get what I thought was the remaining of the issues fixed. I waited
for several hours because Jim never scheduled the carpet man along with
the service department. Needless to say I had to return again because my cd player was sticking
and the wipers still had not been replaced. Antonio, the service man
on my job, came back within ten minutes saying the disk player was fixed.
I got in the car and stuck a disk in and it was still broken. I had
to return to Marietta Dodge again this time a week later to see the
Audio man. Well he could not fix it either. Then I was told by Antonio
that Marietta Dodge would have to get me a new cd system. So I waited
another 3 hours while they looked for Jim to get an approval. Jim came
back and said No. I had to make an appointment to come back again. After the CD system
was fixed I thought finally I don't have to go back, but I was wrong. Level of upset :: 4 Business in question :: Vonage Complaint :: I don't know where to begin. I am so f-ing pissed. And to top that off, if you go and post positive reviews regarding other hosting companys forget about it, they'll straight muzzle that shit, and remove you faster then you can blink. Level of upset :: 4 Business in question :: E*Trade-Thor Credit Complaint :: I had a motorhome loan with E*Trade/Thor Credit. I loaned the motorhome to another person to use with the condition that the other person make the payments. E*Trade learned that another person was making payments and repossessed the motorhome because it violated their contract. The loan amount owed was $91,000. E*Trade/Thor Credit sold the motorhome at auction for $37,000. To settle the lawsuit against me, I paid them $29,000 as the settlement reached between me and their attorney, on top of the $37,000 they recouped at auction. They then reported the vehicle as repossessed to major credit reporting agencies and refused to show that a settlement had been reached. My credit is ruined because of this one item. My credit score went from 735 to 620 because of their refusal to indicate that this matter was concluded by monetary settlement. The credit reports indicate that $91,000 was lost, when this is not true at all. Level of upset :: 4 Business in question :: dynamic moving Complaint :: On 03/18/06 I had Dynamic Moving move my furniture from NJ to PA. When they arrived I informed their forman the truck was too small he insisted he was a professional and will make everything fit. When they arrived at my new home, I watched them unload the truck. When they were going to unload my washer they broke off the spin cycle knob on my washer, which without it the washer will not work. I called the company the same day and left a message. 3 days later I still hadn't received a response. I called back several times and received the run around. Finally they told me they were sending me 200 dollar check. I waited and never received anything. I continued to call and leave messages. I finally reported them to the BBB. I continued to call the company finally someone named Diana told me the owners felt since I contacted the BBB on them that was my payment enough. They feel giving their company a bad name was my payment for my washer. Business in question :: Theous Corporation, THEOUS, SOPHEA, INFINOLOGY Complaint :: Scammed!!!!! Company Fax: Three Names Same Company- THEOUS, SOPHEA, INFINOLOGY I was wanting a Logo designed for my new start up. So I searched on google and came across the top 10 logo designers at themostpopularbrands.com/ reviews/logo_designers/index.htm?site=google&engine=adwords!2656&keyword=logo+design&match_type This is were I was taken The site sounded and looked ok. I needed a logo quick and this company looked like they could help me at a reasonable rate. The site quality wasn't as good as many of the other companies I looked at, but I went against my better judgement because of their promotion. I couldn't believe I was getting $545.00 package for $165.00. I paid my $165.00 for this package. After I paid I received their order e-mail confirmation, that didn't have a reference/ order # on it. It states the following “Infinology Corp. will appear on your credit card statement as they are the company which handles the credit card processing for Theous Corporation. If you have any questions with this order please call 863-223-2296.” , shows my billing info. I didn't think much of it so I went about my business until I received a second e-mail from this company of many names. It stated Thank you for ordering our LogoDesign service. Please download the attached microsoft word document and answer the questions accordingly. We need you to answers these questions before we can start Designing your Logo. If you have any quesitons please email the question to: winnie@theous.com. The document was very basic and asked very general questions concerning my company. Again I thought nothing of this. Everything seems to be moving right along. A week goes by and I haven't heard a thing from them. So I call and they say that they have my file and should start on it soon. They stated that there was a lot of business coming in from their special promotion and I should be patient. I wait a few more days and still no word from this company. I start getting suspicious and do a search on this company. OOOOOOOOOOOHHHHH I should have gone with my gut feeling on this. I was scammed and I knew it. There isn't a lot out on the search but what is out there isn't good concerning this company. I called the company again and the person I spoke with stated he could find any info on my order. He asked if I was sure I placed an order. I'm ticked off now and do a search again and find a site called Rip Off Report.com on this site I find a fellow consumer “ Gurvir” that has been jacked around. I e-mailed him and he stated he was talking to a manager by the name of Albert. So I called the # he gave me and spoke with Albert. Albert told me he also couldn't find any record of my purchase. I told him my card was charged by his company. His reply was to have me e-mail him with a reason as to why I want a refund. I sent the e-mail and waited. Nothing. I contacted Gurvir again and he said he has got Theous to refund our money but he has to retract his posting on Rip off Report. I call Theous again and speak to Albert. Albert says he will not refund my money until this other customer retracts his statement. I didn't write the complaint nor do I know your other customer. PLEASE refund my money. Albert again states all I have to do is E-mail him a reason why I'm requesting a refund and they will give my money back. I send him 6 more e-mails stating why I want a refund. I have not received a refund or a phone nor an e-mail from this company. BEWARE !!!
